Born in Business — The First 20 Years
I'm the one and only Rese — not into someone else explaining me, so I thought I'd do it myself. Indomitable spirit is truly my character and personality. Armed with confidence rooted in real-world experience, my first 20-year journey in business began at 13 — answering phones and taking messages in a family janitorial and maintenance business. Trained by my mother and father.
I worked summers at an Air Force base from ages 14–16, cleaning and training to supervise under my Dad and Uncle, while also learning from the pilots on the base. Those summers taught me a lot about life and career. From the pilots, I learned the principles of Dash-One, Briefing, Debrief, Profile, and EPs — and I applied every one of them to life, parenting, business, and security.
I moved into management at 18. Those experiences, people, and environments gave me an entrepreneurial foundation built on discipline, accountability, and the vision it takes to grow and successfully maintain a company from the ground up — learning contracts, negotiations, bidding, winning, losing, finance, marketing, and budgeting, all while learning from people from every walk of life.
My advice: only 15% make it through the first 10 years in business. Success isn't saying you have a business — it's maintaining it, achieving, putting your revenue back in, and growing.
My Own Business — The Next 20 Years
That foundation gave me the experience to continue the family business and forge my own independent path in janitorial services, maintenance, home turnovers, landlord services, and security. I've been an employer and an employee. I've been financially stable and not financially stable — a worker, supervisor, and manager — all while single parenting. Yes, and I'm transparent.
The Music & Security Background
This is where the music part comes in — and where you come in. To date, the greatest chapter of my career.
I built an extensive background in personal, entertainment, and production security — accumulating 18 continuous years of real-world music business, concert, and touring experience. I protected people, artists, entertainers, events, and environments at every level — nobody above or below — whether on stage or backstage. From stadiums, theaters, outdoor festivals, block parties, and community events to corporate gigs, Paisley Park events, rehearsals, and private parties. Learned a lot about the music business there.
I learned the industry from load-in to load-out, front of house to backstage. I observed and participated in exactly how the music business works, standing side-by-side with production teams and doing whatever it took to get it done. As a part of the show — kick drum! 1 2 1 2
My Music Business Education
During this time, I decided to extend my experience to a formal level. I attended Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida, pursuing a BA in Music Business and Psychology. Full Sail is a behind-the-scenes music business education — and I experienced it both on and off campus. By experience and by education, I know what it takes mentally, physically, and financially to make it in any business — let alone the music business.
The Trio Lens — Family Business, Ownership & Music
From everything I have lived, breathed, and experienced, I want to pass it down 100% — to you, the present and future generations. Partnering with the teacher and partnering with the learner, so that we all thrive in success, not failure. Let's bring everyone in the music business together, honor our individual crafts, and build together.
Our gain. Our partnership. Our success — together.
"If you believe, you shall achieve." Together we are creating a worldwide music pipeline. Anything we go through, we grow through. You are never defined by your environment unless you allow yourself to be. You are able to do anything in this world that you want to do in life. Don't ever let anyone tell you what you can't accomplish. The only thing between you and your dreams is your effort. If anyone tries to bring negativity and cast shadows on your dreams — let them watch from the outside.
Check out our pages — they will tell you exactly what Find, Plan, and Execute is all about. In short, let's partner up to build a music wellness ecosystem of experienced artists, creators, and brands, and prosper from it together.
